Our Lady of Medjugorje warns in the first secret: “THESE people are not aware of what awaits them!”
“What I began in Fatima, I will finish in Medjugorje,” Our Lady told the visionaries in Medjugorje. By all indications, the end is very near. Observing the situation from across the Adriatic Sea, it is evident that the Vatican is taking Our Lady’s messages more and more seriously. World media are writing and speaking about Medjugorje more frequently. The portal “Mystic Post” published an article with an extremely dramatic headline: “Medjugorje visionary Mirjana: ‘Our Lady revealed the first secret to me; it was like a movie. The earth was so devastated and desolate. Our Lady spoke about unbelievers — ‘They are not aware of what awaits them.’”
Anneliese Michel, I believe, is known to most people, because you have heard of or seen the disturbing photographs and recordings from the exorcisms on a YouTube channel. She was asked: “Does all this suffering she is going through, this severe demonic possession, have any meaning at all?!” She answered them in this way: “People do not believe in the existence of God, but if I show them the devil who is in me, there is a chance they will believe that God exists, if they see that the devil exists.”
This extremely courageous young woman, with a strong faith in Jesus Christ, fought through numerous exorcisms against Satan and demons. Because of the extremely severe possession, her exhausted body eventually could not endure it, and Anneliese Michel passed away. Friday, October 25, 1985 Mirjana: “When she appeared, the Blessed Virgin greeted me: ‘Praised be Jesus.’ Then she spoke to me about unbelievers: ‘They are my children. I suffer because of them. They do not know what awaits them. You must pray more for them.’”
“We prayed with Our Lady for the weak, the unhappy, and the forgotten. After the prayer, Our Lady blessed us. Then she showed me, as if in a film, the revelation of the first secret. The earth was devastated and destroyed. I cried. ‘Will this happen so soon?’ I asked. ‘There is so much sin in the world. What can I do if you do not help me? Remember that I love you.’
How can the Lord have such a hard heart? “The Lord does not have a hard heart. Look around you; when you see what people are doing, you will no longer say, ‘The Lord has a hard heart.’ How many people come to church, to the house of the Lord, with respect, strong faith, and love for the Lord? Very few! You have a time of grace and conversion. It is necessary to make good use of this time.”
Our Lady gives Mirjana a special task: “Pray much for Father Petar, to whom I am sending a special blessing. I am the Mother; that is why I have come. You must not be afraid, because I am with you.” Father Petar Ljubičić will reveal the three warnings to the world three days before each event.
