Visionary Mirjana: When the secrets are revealed, people will understand why it is important to have children! In one conversation, Sister Emmanuel asked visionary Mirjana: ‘You have written about very powerful messages from Our Lady. For example: “Do not be afraid to have children. Rather, be afraid not to have them! The more children you have, the better!” Mirjana replied: ‘Yes, she said that, and she knows why she said it. And I know it too… but I cannot tell you more.’
Sister Emmanuel: Oh, so you too have been given this knowledge. Mirjana (nodding her head with a smile) says: “When the secrets are revealed, people will understand why it was so important for them to have many children. We are all awaiting the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”
The Secrets of Medjugorje
Let us recall that the secrets of Medjugorje are written on a piece of paper which, according to visionary Mirjana, resembles parchment but is “indestructible”; it cannot be folded or torn. According to God’s choice, the secrets will be revealed by Fr. Petar Ljubičić, who says that when the time comes, the content will first be visible to his eyes, and after seven days to other people as well, because they will cease to be secrets. This will be repeated until the tenth secret.
“Ten days before the first secret takes place, Mirjana will inform me, wherever I may be at that moment. Then I will immediately go to Medjugorje, and perhaps Providence will have it that I am already there. After that, I will spend seven full days in prayer and fasting so that I myself, filled with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, may more fully understand the meaning of the message and better penetrate its mystery. Then, three days before the announced events begin, I will reveal it to the world,” Fr. Petar says rather briefly about the secrets, since he himself does not know much about everything until it is revealed to him.
As far as is known about the content of the secrets from what the visionaries have so far been permitted to say, the first two will be proof that they have been telling the truth all these years, while the third will announce a visible sign that Our Lady will leave at the site of the first apparitions as a call to conversion for those who are far from God. The remaining seven secrets will partly concern the visionaries, and partly they will be announcements of dramatic events in the world. It should be noted that at this moment, three of the six visionaries have already received all ten secrets, while three have received nine. Many are impatient and wonder when everything will begin, but one thing is certain: it will be revealed during Fr. Petar’s lifetime.
