Message of October 25, 2002, to the visionary Marija
“Dear children, today also I call you to prayer. Little children, believe that miracles can be worked through simple prayer. Through your prayer, you open your heart to God, and He works miracles in your life. Seeing the fruits, your heart is filled with joy and gratitude to God for everything He does in your life and, through you, for others. Pray and believe, children. God gives you graces, but you do not see them. Pray, and you will see them. May your day be filled with prayer and thanksgiving for everything God gives you. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
Our Lady encourages us to trust in the power of prayer, which can do unimaginable things. But everything depends on the trust we truly place in the Lord. In fact, we risk trusting more in the formula being recited than in the essence of prayer itself, which is a dialogue of trust with God, reducing it to an external practice far from a true relationship.
What Our Lady wants is for us to establish an authentic relationship with God. Then we will see great miracles in our lives, beginning with the conversion of our hearts, because there is no greater, more extraordinary, and more pleasing miracle to God. That is why prayer must become a fundamental part of our lives, and our everyday life must become prayer — that is, a lasting union with God. Then gratitude and joy will reign in our hearts.
